Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar have come a great distance since their onscreen introduction on the set of 1997’s I Know What You Did Final Summer time.
“We simply would discuss life and stuff like that, and we had utterly totally different philosophies on nearly all the things,” She’s All That actor solely advised Us Weekly in February 2020. “We began this weekly barbecue factor at her home, and me and my cousins would come over and prepare dinner meals for her and her associates. After which we’d make certain all people ate, and that was type of how our friendship started.”
Prinze and Gellar’s bond turned after a fumbled dinner date in January 2000. “We had been alleged to have dinner with a buddy of ours, and she or he didn’t make her airplane, so we went anyway,” he advised Us in 2020. “We’d had tons of dinners earlier than and for some cause, it felt totally different that evening. Organically, it simply transitioned into one thing else.”
Two years later, the pair tied the knot in September 2002. Almost seven years later, they expanded their household. They share daughter Charlotte and son Rocky, born in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
