Michael Vaughan, the previous England cricket captain, has spoken out concerning the toll of a 512-day racism investigation, throughout which he feared his cricket profession was over. Vaughan had been charged by the England and Wales Cricket Board with making a racist remark in the direction of a bunch of Yorkshire team-mates previous to a match in 2009. The costs towards him had been finally dismissed, however 5 of his former team-mates had been discovered to have used racist and/or discriminatory language. Vaughan criticised the ECB’s dealing with of the case and expressed sympathy for the households of these concerned.
